The most important thing I have learned in my eye-opening world travels in the Japanese expression, “Dining should be a feast for the eye as well as the stomach.” Delighting your guests with a beautiful presentation before the food arrives puts everyone in a festive and receptive mood and takes some of the pressure off your culinary skills (or if you are culinary – challenged, buy good take- out and just hide the boxes).
